CBA is a pre-school for all children 2 years (as of Sept. 1)- pre-k. CBA follows the school calendar and runs from August- May. It is from 8:30- 11:30 AM on the days listed below for each age group.

Additional Fee Details
CBA is a 9 month program, following the public school calendar. Second child in the same family pays only 50% tuition. Central Church of Christ members who are paying their own child’s tuition pay 50% tuition. Other scholarships may also be available. December and May are 50% tuition. Please bring tuition questions to the attention of the Director.
Stay and Play is an enrichment feature of our program once per month usually the last Wednesday of each month. The children bring a sack lunch and stay for lunch and free play experience. They are picked up at 1:30 on their stay and play day. This is an optional activity at the additional charge of $3.00 per day.

Our Staff
Debbie Hallum, Director
Debbie became the CBA Director in 2023. She has her Doctorate in Business Administration with a Minor in Accounting. She has been a Sunday School teacher for the past 33 years. Currently a foster parent trainer, she has taught adult classes the past 17 years. Debbie began at CBA working as an Aide and a Substitute Teacher for two years, then taught a Three’s and Two’s class for eleven years.
Karen Duncan, Teacher
Karen has a degree in Administration & Management. She has been a Sunday School teacher the past 37 years. Karen previously taught at CBA, then worked a corporate job. She has thankfully come back to work at CBA, teaching a Three’s class and a Two’s class.
Julie Felts, Teacher
Julie has her Masters in English with half of her coursework in French. Previously a college professor, we are grateful to have her teaching in her fifth year at CBA.
Kaela Hayek, Teacher
Kaela is a Veteran of the United States Army where she served four years. She upholds the morals of loyalty, integrity, and respect. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, and a mom to a beautiful 3 year old girl. Kaela has eight years experience as a Nanny with children ranging from infants to preteens. She is excited to be a Three’s Teacher at CBA helping your children grow in learning, as well as in their relationship with GOD.
Kirstie Klupenger, Teacher
Kristie has her Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies. This is her fifth year at CBA as one of our Three’s teachers.
Carrie Sanders, Teacher
Carrie has an Associates in Photography and a Minor in Early Childhood Education. She worked at the YMCA daycare in college, and currently volunteers at her church preschool. This is Carrie’s second year teaching a Two’s class at CBA.
Elyse Tharp, Teacher
Elyse Tharp is a Two’s teacher at CBA. She has her Bachelor’s in Human Development & Family Sciences from Oklahoma State University. She worked in Campus Ministry for 7 years. For the past 3 years she has worked as an aide and sub for CBA, and has taught the Two’s Class for one year previously. Elyse has assisted CBA by spearheading fundraising events such as Pancakes with Santa, Princess Tea, and Knights in Training.
Kendra Waldrop, Teacher
Kendra has her Master’s Degree in Human Resources and worked for 10 years in insurance before becoming a stay at home mom to her four daughters seven years ago. She did home school preschool with two of her daughters during the pandemic. She has been an aide and substitute teacher at CBA for the past two years, and is so excited to teach Pre-K.
Judy Ross, Director Emeritus
Judy directed CBA from its beginning until she retired at the end of the 2023 school year. She has continued to volunteer her time and wisdom at CBA as Debbie Hallum has taken over as director.
