Welcome to Central! Here is what to expect on your first Sunday visit.
At Central, you are welcome as you are. If we only accepted perfect people, no one would be here!
We are simply a loving group of people who want to uplift each other and share the Good News of grace we’ve found. We care about you, not what you’re wearing or how many tattoos you have. So no matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome here. We believe Central can be a place to call home for anyone – especially those who want to start fresh.
SUNDAY WORSHIP @ 9:30 AM
We are a Christ-centered church and want everything we do to point others to Jesus. We sing both modern and traditional songs of worship, have a time of giving and prayer, and hear a biblical message. We celebrate the gospel each week through the Lord’s Supper.
You can expect a Bible-based message that will both encourage and challenge you. You will walk away not just knowing what the Bible says, but you will grow stronger and more mature in your faith.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
Central cares about kids. During the Sunday message, we have Kid’s Praise for grades 6 and under.
After worship beginning at about 10:45 AM, we have classes for children and adults of all ages. You are welcome to stay and join a class or not. No pressure and no obligation.
NOTE: During the summer months, we are changing up our normal format. Beginning May 18, Summer Bible School will take place during worship instead of after it.
RESTORE
Once a month during the school year, Central conducts an informal night of worship and prayer we call Restore. The evening begins with a free meal open to the public and then is followed with worship. The goal is to engage people in our community outside of our normal worship times and styles in order to share the gospel and build relationships.
MIDWEEK OPPORTUNITIES
The middle of the week is also full of opportunities at Central. At 6:30 PM, people meet at our building for various activities. We typically have men’s groups, women’s groups, and even small groups designed for children! We also have an adult Bible class, a singing class, and sometimes other service opportunities.
